Play.Able: An Inclusive Play Space for Children of All Abilities
Sub-theme: 2.Toy libraries for all
At Play.Able, we believe parents are the primary catalysts for social change. The concept for our programme began when a parent shared that there were not enough play spaces designed specifically for children with disabilities. By listening to their lived experiences, we were able to fill a gap in the community and create a space where everyone feels welcome. We wish to share the possibility of creating a space that is more than just a place to play. A play space can become a safe and judgment-free environment where parents and children feel comfortable connecting and interacting with one another, thereby creating a strong and supportive community of their own.

Biography
Huang Jun is a graduate student in the Department of Digital Technology Design (including the Master's program in Toy and Game Design) at National Taipei University of Education. He possesses practical UI/UX design skills. His research focuses on addressing the pain points of learning efficiency and experience in gamified learning (GBL) through innovative human-computer interaction interfaces.
His newly published paper, 'Application of CUI Design in Contextualized Role-Playing Training,' addresses the problem of learning interruptions caused by traditional text-based interfaces (CLI). It proposes and validates a design framework for an AI knowledge-assisted system based on a conversational interface (CUI). Through the design advantages of question guidance and structured card responses, combined with RAG technology, the research significantly optimizes the knowledge acquisition efficiency and ease of use of the AI scaffold in contextual training.
